Concerns

Before I forget, I would like to thank every one who blogs.  I try and read a lot of blog entries and sometimes I leave a comment and sometimes I don't. I used to leave a comment each time I read something but for some reason, I am not able to come up with things to write  any more. The struggles of asthma and to some extent laziness that accompanies ailment seems to have erased the part of my brain that used to get inspiration to write. I hope that no one goes through this phase, because I love to read blogs. They are informative, inspiring and most of all a lot of fun.

I have to apologise to Melinda  who had sent me a very good link about driver less cars. I had promised to post that link on my blog, but since I am not very tech savy, I had to wait for my daughter to show me how to post the link. So here it is. Enjoy. Thanks Melinda.

We all go through highs and lows of blogging and commenting so you are not alone.

When will people ever realize that a vehicle is a huge instrument that needs our total concentration to keep it from becoming a lethal weapon.

Hope you start to feel better soon.

Google's driverless car is a fascinating thing. I'd always though that this was something reserved for science fiction movies (like Minority Report). It's good to be alive in a time as exciting as the one in which I am living.

Love the new font btw. You should change up the background too. :)

That would be awesome. I could just sleep on the way to everything and no worry about getting there safely.

This is a fantastic post about a serious issue I am glad your daughter helped you get it out there. I have a daughter like that.
Don't worry your brain will come back it just needed a rest. Hugs B

I understand your situation. I have similar problems about getting around to comment as much as I'd like and perhaps the biggest problem is my computer and internet being slower than I'd like. And it's really kind of fast, but sometimes it just goes slower than I'd like.

They've been discussing these types of cars here in California. I believe a prototype program will be going into effect soon. Something like this would be especially nice for those of us who travel long distances on a regular basis.

Oh my gosh...I don't know why this idea has no appeal for me. I don't like to be a passenger, I rather drive so giving control of the wheel to a computer makes me break out in hives...I'm just weird I guess!

Nice posting and some interesting info. The Google was recently cruising around Hagerstown, Maryland. I didn't get to see it though.
On commenting I understand. It's harder on the days that I work but try to comment back. Enjoyed your post!

Thank you for commenting at my blog, Trainride Of The Enigmas. I too suffer from asthma, which has got worse in recent years, and know how energy-draining it can be. My compliments on your excellent site, which I am now following.

I don't think automated driving would be able to outperform human drivers in the recent future.
Of course automated driving would be a lot safer than human drivers but only in the distant future. I just hope I'm alive to see that. :/

And I hope you get better Mam. Best wishes :)
