My spelling IS Getting Better

I have been afraid of the "A" word. They say that when some people come to my age they start losing their memory. Although I remember most of my math facts, I was beginning to get worried about my spellings and my grammar. I have been writing superlatives instead of just regular facts and some of the homonyms got mixed up in my mind. Now I have decided that I am going to love English. They say in my country that if you like anything to improve, you have to make an effort and actually love what you want to see improved. Therefore I am going to strive to get my spellings to be almost perfect and my typing skills to be better. This is because I want to write correct sentences when I visit and comment on Lenny Lee's blog. He has become my inspiration. Thanks Lenny!

I was thinking I never saw you making spelling mistakes or any mistakes of that kind. Then i made a visit to Lenny Lee's blog to see what really inspired you,a nd saw it inspiring much in some way but was wondering what is that with spelling and grammar. Anyways, It is a sincerely cool effort on your part. It makes you a sensitive and confident elder.

I understand what you mean. I sometimes avoid making comments just because I'm unsure about my English.

Hi Munir .. anyone that can use the word 'homonym' in their text deserves an 'A' to start with!

Good for you .. I am hopeless at Grammar somethings got completely muddled when I was 12 - 14 ... French, English and Latin .. and to this day I don't understand - one day I shall get to understand ... luckily I do ok for now!

I admire anyone whose first language isn't English to write in it .. so rock on!

Lenny's great isn't he - and his family are so so supportive ..

Congratulations on your award - let us know what you decide to get ..

Cheers Hilary

Now, I'm going to visit Lenny's blog. LOL's. I think you have done great with English, and I don't look for perfect English I look for compassionate writing that can stir my soul, and push me forwards in becoming a better person.

Munir,
By your blogs and writing, I would never have known your native language is not English; super for you! I like your comment about if you want to improve something, work on it! Basic bottom line!

It seems like the more I write, the more I misuse and misspell words. I think it probably comes will volume of writing and speed of typing. I hope it's nothing age related.
