After Thoughts

Before I forget I would like to thank everyone who reads what I have to say. My blogger page does not show any pictures or links, so I can't personally say thanks. I would like to read everyone's blog as well.  Also thanks everyone for each of your blog entries. All of the blogs that I read are full of inspiration and/or information. Like Hillary from Positive Notes would say "Cheers"!

OK, so I may be a little self-absorbed these days but am I so oblivious that I did not feel when 2011 came and went by ? I guess when work kind of consumes you and you have duties stacked up even after work hours people just tend to ignore their own hobbies. I did try to read though because writing is something that needs to be read and good writing does not come by just like that. So once again thanks everyone for writing.

I also would like to mention how good it makes me feel when I find out that some people who I know as bloggers are now actually published writers. Ann of Inkpots and Quills , Sharon Mahew of  Random thoughts, Tracy of  My thoughtful spot, Elizebeth Mueller, Dorris Plaster of Hold My Hand and last but not least Michael Offut of SLC Kismet who is a soon to be published author this year (whose book I still have to bookmark in Good Read.). I would like to apologise if I have not mentioned anyone else.

My elders have told me that we are the designers of our own destiny. I guess for them memory loss may not have been an issue. I may have to design my own destiny around that handicap in case my brain gives in.  I have been pretty good with my memory ever since I have taken control of my own meds. I have to remember that my health is my own responsibility.

I am sure by now most of my blogger friends have heard these good news of three sets of twins being born with a time difference of a minute or so, hence having birth dates in two different years. Congratulations to the proud parents in New York, in Minnesota, and in Florida. Also welcome new babies. We will try to make this world as comfy as possible. It may not match your mother's womb but we will do our best to keep you warm.

Your brain is fine, based on the caring and coherent posts your write. Your heart is also in the right place, because you are so compassionate and kind to others. Happy New Year!

I always enjoy reading your blog. I find it so interesting and I love your outlook on life. Everyone's blog has a different flavor that is a part of that person....some with photos, some just text, some both...I never thought when I joined the blogger community that I would find so many cool people to get to know and so many ideas and fun things to share. Thanks for taking the time to write and I think your brain is doing just fine! Happy New Year!

This is only the second post of yours that I've read since I became a follower, but your brain seems just fine to me!

You wrote beautiful words for the twins! I do hope their lives are happy ones. I also have some friends who have gotten published. Good for them, I say! It is so nice to read about the triumphs in people's lives. I hope both yours and my brain will be working well this year, Munir.

As everyone said, your writing is lovely and certainly coherent.
I too have some health issues and it's a drag to have to deal with meds. But here's to us both being healthier in 2012.
I plan to be pubbed in 2012 by doing my own book. I plan to put it on ebook, Amazon Kindle at least that is my plan. I have to learn how, now.
So here's to a beautiful new year for all of us bloggers. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks for the shout out Munir. I think you should write a book about your life and the lessons you've learned and get it published :)

I've been thinking about you and I'm so glad you visited me today. So far my memory is not failing me, but it is a scary thought. I too am so happy to have met so many published writers on the blogs. I'm reading one of them right now and just finished a book by another.

Thanks so much for the kind words and the recognition. You are so kind Munir, which makes me so proud you are my friend.
I also think you short-change yourself and need to be more kind to YOU!

Greetings Munir,
Would like to take this opportunity to let you know how delighted I was to have become aware of you within the great and diverse blogging community.
Indeed, it is encouraging and inspiring to note those who have become published writers. It's my honour to know a few of those you have so kindly mentioned.
And may our destiny be such that we leave our children and the precious animals of this planet, a cleaner, greener, more caring world. Yes, we owe it those babies who have entered our world, in what we wish to be a hopeful and less judgemental place to live.
Here's to you and happy writing.
With respect and kind wishes for the New Year, Gary
