Guest Post

Hi every one. I apologize for being technologically challenged. My blog is of a very simple format. As much as I like to reach out to a lot of people and create awareness about what is good for all of us, and how to be on guard when it comes to devastating problems, I am not able to present various issues that might come up in everyday lives of so many of us. I would like to put this button on my blog, but even after trying hard I am not able to copy and paste it on the side of my blog as a lot of bloggers do (I even asked my daughter who is much more advanced than me for help).
I will appreciate if you visit the blog mentioned above. It means a lot to a very special mom, who is able to see her little one grow even after being diagnosed with cancer. Hopefully I might be able to have her as a "Guest Blogger" once I get the technology figured out . Thank You all in advance.

You did a fine job. In order to put the button on your side bar you need to go to "design" and "add a gadget" choose "add picture" type in a title and choose "browse for picture" pick out your badge from your downloads. You can also add a link to her site by dragging her address over from your blog list. Hit save. It's not hard just a little time consuming.

You can go to your blogger sideboard, click to add a widget, choose picture, and then upload the picture from your computer. There's a place to type in the hyperlink. And voila! You'd have a button. If you still have trouble, I could probably provide you with step by step instructions using screenshots on how to do it.

I was going to explain how to do it, but I see a couple of people have already done that. And, your words do more good than you may know.

when I click on it it only gets bigger and doesn't take me to her site...I am completely technologically challenged too...that is why my kids laugh overtime they just think about me actually writing a blog on the internet!
You are a good blogging friend to support Heather. thank you for your example. and you are speeding the word for her.

Hi Munir,
I too am a technophobe and thus, my site is a very simple format. I've learnt a few basics. Michael Offcut has offered sound advice.
If you copy and past the following, it should take you to Heather Von St. James site,

With respect to you, my friend.
In kindness, Gary

Hi Munir! Sorry it has taken me so long to get over here. I'm still adjusting to my eye sight thing. I was going to explain how to do the badge thing but people explained it fairly well except they forgot to add to save it to your computer then go to design ect.
I hope you are having an amazing weekend my friend.
